Handling existing Down-pipe
Q) I have a problem of a drain pipe running down in the middle of the wall. Do you have anything that could get around the pipe, i.e a method for cutting out a section of the back strengthening bar and joining it around this?
A) We are able to cut down parts of the aluminium bar and the polycarbonate sheet easily with a Jigsaw as the images below demonstrate, please make this clear in your order if you require this service. During installation, some people take away the down pipe first before assembling the Canofix canopy, then reassemble the pipe once that is done.
Q) Does it have some sort of guttering at the front or does the water just slide off?
A) Our front aluminium bar is a hollow tube, and the top can be peeled off with a plier (as if you're opening a tin can, see first image below) so it can act like a gutter. Otherwise customers put extra PVC gutter at the front along the edge of the Canofix canopy. As for the extra drainage down-pipe at the end corners, a connector with a diameter of 38mm will fit our front aluminium bar, however we do not provide any extra PVC drainage down pipes.
Canofix Logo on the Brackets
Q) We are looking at canopies and I can see some of your images have brackets without the canofix marking. Is this something you can specify?
A) Depending on our bracket sizes (projection size from the wall), we have a "no-logo" brand engraving, or a small brand cut-out.
650mm projection bracket has small logo on it
1000mm projection bracket has "No-Logo" at all.
1270mm projection bracket shall be "No-logo" from the ones provided onward March 2019.
1500mm bracket has much smaller logo on it, compared with previous version as below.
